Billing & Insurance

The cost of your surgery will consist of a fee that includes the procedure (s) performed, supplies, medications, equipment and recovery room charges.  Prior to your surgery date we will contact your insurance company regarding your coverage.

Any service or portion of your charges not covered by your insurance such as deductibles or co-pays will be collected on the day of surgery.  We accept most major credit cards as well as personal checks or cash.

After your surgery we will file your insurance for you.  We will ask you to sign an “Assignment of Benefits Form” so that the payment comes directly to The Surgery Center.

If the facility or anesthesia costs are more than anticipated you will be billed for any difference not covered by your insurance.

In accordance with U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, (HHS) No Surprise Act, effective January 1, 2022, good faith estimates for uninsured or self-pay individuals are available when the provider schedules the surgery. Click here for more information

Any overpayment will be refunded within 30 days from receipt of the insurance payment.  The bill from our facility will not include the services of the surgeon, anesthesia provider, certain medical goods (such as specialized crutches and slings) and other miscellaneous services that may be required.
